Studying in Sanremo

OMNILINGUA is situated in the famous resort town of Sanremo. The school is located close to the historical part of the town and just a stone's throw away from the beach. The school building, "Casa Valdese", has a long literary and academic tradition dating back to 1929, the year in which Italo Calvino, the renowned Italian author, studied here until 1933. Following in his footsteps, OMNILINGUA´s objective is to offer stimulating Italian language lessons as well as high quality translations in a warm and friendly environment, offering its students the opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world.

OMNILINGUA welcomes participants from all over the world and strongly believes that such variety creates an interesting and lively atmosphere, in which to meet new friends, learn about other cultures and overall, have fun. All of this is possible thanks to our long term collaboration with other Italian entities, such as the Italian Culture Centre and the Dante Alighieri Society. Although the students come for different reasons – vacation, work, study, passion – they all share the same wish to dive into the Italian language and lifestyle.

The lessons take place in small groups of no more than 9 and the teachers are enthusiastic and very helpful. There is a full social programme with every effort being made to make newcomer’s welcome and to help then to get to know other students. The language school has small groups, the teachers are enthusiastic and provide well-structured and interesting lessons. The school also has an excellent support team who gives help and advice with just about anything!
